Plusius platform specifications

Payment Profiles, Corridors, Payment Services, Sandbox

In the Plusius system, we call the integrating business a platform.

Our platform has its own customers. The customers are the platform users who we collect payments from. Every customer has a KYC level, which decides the total amount a customer is allowed to transfer money.

Plusius defines the KYC limits for platforms. These limits changes based on business criteria and can differ from case to case.

Payment Profiles

For a platform to make payments we set-up payment profiles, which are specifically tailored for your business needs.

A Payment Profile consists of: Corridors and Payment Services.

Corridor

Corridor defines payments between two different currencies. These are configured depending on the platform's needs.

For example, if the platform wants to make payments between EUR —> USD, then a corridor can be configured to allow payments between these two currencies.

Each corridor has defined fees based on agreements between the platform and Plusius.

Payment Services

Payment Services are the different payment methods we offer. These are set for each corridor, and thus may differ between different corridors.

Fees as well as payment service providers are some of the things that are configured in the payment service.

This is done in four easy steps with the Plusius API:

  • 1. Create a customer,

  • 2. Create a quote,

  • 3. Select type of payment (bank or card),

  • 4. Pay it and now the whole payment flow is done!

Sandbox test platform

Upon registration in Plusius portal we assign a test platform to your user. You need to have to go to Key Management and register a subscription to get your API Key to start testing our Sandbox environment.

Your test platform has two payment profiles:

  • 1. Normal Payment Profile is set to your default payment profile. Which means that if you do not specify the paymentProfile property when creating a quote via our API this one will be chosen as default for the quote.

The normal Payment Profile is configured as to pay to self, which means that the payee is set to the platform itself.

  • 2. B2B Payment Profile is as the name states used for business to business payments, in this case the payee will be one of your customers.

Three Corridors are configured for each payment profile:

  • 1. USD —> EUR,

  • 2. GBP —> EUR and

  • 3. EUR —> EUR.

For every corridor there are two Payment Services - card payment and bank payment.

The payment services have different expiry times. For cards it is currently set to 15 minutes, while bank transfer is set to 15 days.
